We are advancing robotic machining capabilities through the integration of secondary axes and improved force control. Your main task will be to design, build, and calibrate an end-effector that incorporates a milling spindle a feed axis and integrated force-torque sensing capabilities. Understanding and accounting for these external forces is critical to achieving high stiffness by control, enhancing performance during milling and drilling tasks. The resulting setup will be integrated into an industrial robot and validated under real machining conditions. This position is valid as the mandatory internship of the MAVT Master at ETH.
